GoTab, a restaurant commerce platform, is offering free activations and 24-hour guaranteed setup to companies wanting to add contactless options, including curbside pickup/takeout and delivery capabilities, according to a press release.
The platform requires minimal to no additional hardware, software or support costs and assists operators in pivoting between dine-in service, takeout and delivery, both or vice versa. Operators can streamline online ordering and payment processing for takeout and curbside pickup, gift card purchasing, catering service and pop-up grocery stores. Additional features include online branding and private menus embedded into a website; email promotion or social media post; special offer promotion and pickup date scheduling and order instructions.
GoTab integrates with GoTab KDS through a single interface supporting the kitchen in expediting orders and printing packing slips to organize fulfillment.
Customers may use the system to text directly with the kitchen via two-way text communications, giving Back-of-House staff the ability to alert customers if dishes are sold out or contain specific ingredients that could cause allergic reactions, according to the release
Group ordering is also available via the platform’s tab features, with batching that detects orders coming from different devices and then groups them under one tab for efficiency and cost reduction
The product’s commerce platform also offers a shopping system for restaurants to sell gift cards, gift baskets and groceries.
GoTab integrates with Postmates and delivery couriers with plans to integrate with DoorDash in the near future, according to the release.
