Checkout.com, Strategic Finance Manager

Checkout.com is actively looking for a talented and driven Strategic Finance Manager with previous experience in corporate finance, business planning and/or strategy, with the ability to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment. The Strategic Finance team supports the CFO across fundraising, corporate finance, investor relations, business planning and analysis, and other strategic topics such as licensing and geographic expansion. The Strategic Finance Manager will report to the VP of Strategic Finance and will help to drive forward the team’s agenda, playing a central role across all areas of the function. You will be expected to take ownership of core workstreams, overseeing the preparation of analysis and reporting of key financial datasets to CFO, CEO as well as external parties such as investors and regulators. There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the Buy Side Operations team. The Buy Side Operations Specialist is a client-facing role, liaising with portfolio managers, risk and performance analysts and back/middle-office professionals. This position demands strong problem-solving skills complemented with solid interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of fixed income analytics is preferred. The daily workload will include establishing a trusted adviser relationship that works to ensure the clients full satisfaction with the PORT Enterprise product. There is a requirement to work approximately one Saturday a month. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of our portfolio product offering so that you are able to quickly assess the severity of an operational issue with regards to client impact. You will also build and maintain relationships with key PORT Enterprise clients as a point-of-contact.

Finastra is looking for a talented Junior Java Developer who will be responsible for the implementation and enhancement of existing Java J2EE application including web-front-end. The successful candidate will participate in the conception, design, and implementation of modern Web-applications for financial
messaging. They will develop the ability to analyse a large amount of data to optimise existing or find new algorithms (data mining), while also developing the ability to manage optimisation and false positive reduction by statistical learning or machine learning. They are looking for someone who is educated to degree level in Computer Science or other technical related fields. The ideal candidate should typically have 0-3 years’ professional experience in software development, or equivalent capabilities, along with solid fundamentals of Java and noteworthy co-academic code generation.
