Digital accountancy firm Crunch shares its platform following 10 years development at no cost to self-employed for first three months.

Digital accountancy firm Crunch today launches Crunch Zero, its first software-only product and the first UK online bookkeeping service where you can also book a consultation with a qualified accountant. For just £2.50 per month (plus VAT), but free for the first three months for early sign-ups, it provides a supercharged limited company bookkeeping platform for freelancers, contractors and small businesses.

Crunch Zero gives access to Crunch’s new digital platform, which is named Ada
https://www.crunch.co.uk/knowledge/news-opinion/crunch-software-updates-introducing-ada-the-new-crunch-platform/ after the visionary Ada Lovelace who invented the world’s first computer programme and became known as “the enchantress of numbers”. Secure, fast, and optimised for mobile devices, Crunch Zero gives an intuitive user experience to create, manage, and update invoices and expenses. New features, including bank reconciliation, will be added later this year.

With over 200 beta users already signed up to Crunch Zero, new clients who sign up before the end of June will pay nothing for the first three-months and play a role in shaping the software.

Subscribers can also select additional services from Crunch and tailor Crunch Zero to suit their company’s needs, such as company formations service, IR35 navigator, insurance, mortgages and pension products created specifically for the small business owner.

Darren Fell, CEO and founder of Crunch, said: “After a decade of disrupting the market and winning accounting and software awards, we’re still hungry to find new ways to help UK entrepreneurs.

“With many small business owners currently struggling for survival from the Coronavirus crisis, we wanted to help them as best we could. And that is why we are now opening up our bookkeeping software at the lowest price possible. Crunch Zero will give even more people access to our powerful and easy to use technology, which is free for the first three months.

“Crunch Zero is an entry level sugar-free access point to all we’ve learnt from looking after the accounts of thousands of small business owners over the past decade. It unlocks the growth-friendly power of a mature platform developed after several multi-million pound investment cycles,” added Fell.

Progressively more fully-featured Crunch packages are also available, including the core Crunch
